We are calling everybody, collectives or production companies that have produced audiovisual works of documentary, argumentative, experimental and/or videoartistic nature; on film, video or animation format.
The festival will take place on May 9-21, 2011 in Barranquilla, Colombia
.

REQUIREMENTS & GENERALITIES

1. The registration is completely free.
2. The limit on the length of the shorts is 30 minutes, no exception.
3. For submitting one or several pieces to the festival, the participant has to send two (2) copies of each short on DVD format and one (1) registration form for each submitted short.
4. The shorts spoken on different languages than Spanish have to be subtitled.
5. The copies of the participating shorts will remain as material of the videoteque of the festival and will be available for later projections with strictly cultural aims.
6. The topics of the participating pieces is free.
7. The registered videos have to use basic standards on quality of image and sound.
8. The reception of the pieces does not entail their inclusion in the official program. The festival reserves the right to include or not the shorts received according to curatorship. The received material will be available to be used as part of the pre-exhibition or during exhibitions after the festival. A qualified jury will evaluate the pieces according to the established criteria and will choose the winners as well as the shorts of the official selection.
9. The expenditures of the remittance of the material are responsibility of the participants. For international remittances it is recommended to tag the envelope with the words: "No Commerical Value - Cultural Aims".

10. The registration form can be downloaded at the webpage http://www.cinealacalle.com or requested to the e-mail cinealacalle@yahoo.com. The participants have to fill the registration form and send it attached to the short.

11. The participant has to attach a CD with the following data including: filled registration form, technical data sheet of the short, CV of the director, poster or advertising material and photos of the motion picture in high definition.
11. The shorts will be received by certificed mail until April 15th, 2011 at the folowing address:
